Announcements - We want to work with you! Need testing? Check out our lab. Need test kits? Check out our chemical company. We are currently running a promotion for anyone who wants to try our VDK (diacetyl) or titratable acidity (TA) test kits. Any one who is interested can receive a free demo kit of each if you can cover the cost of shipping & handling ($25). We know that once you try them, you'll want to keep using them. Visit our website (beyerschemical.com/promotions) for more details. Beer Research We recently used the Beyers Chemical Co. VDK+ Test Kit to survey >30 beers purchased off-the-shelf for VDK levels. We collected VDK data for several different beer types, including ales, lagers, porters, stouts, sours, IPA's, and wheat beers. Respond to this email if you want us to email you the white paper as soon as it is done! Kombucha Research Many kombucha brewers always ask us how their kombucha compares to other kombuchas on the market. We recently re-discovered a study we performed at KombuchaKon in 2019 that explored Brix and titratable acidity levels in over 50 different kombucha samples provided by attendees.
